Okay, so I'm trying to think of a new and unique way to begin a blog post. We all use the tired and true, "hey scrappers", right? So I'm whipping out my thesaurus and coming up with some new terminology! Here goes:

Howdy fellow keepers of the memories. I hope this blog post finds you all well and getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday. Spending time with family is always an interesting experiment in inter-personal dynamics, but usually good :). As "keepers of the memories" we are obliged to take lots of pictures, download them and then scrap them. This can take up quite a bit of time, especially if your computer decides to run slowly. And what about those pictures we haven't gotten scrapped yet from the summer or Halloween? Well here I am to save the day. I have a quick page freebie just for you. Take a look:

My Life and Scrap?

I LOVE the digi-scrapbooking site called: My Life and Scrap but some days I feel like leaving the "s" off - think about it! I'm in the process of scrapping some Christmas pictures of my oldest daughter when she was a baby (she's 22 now!). I just have one piece of advice (something I know all of you younguns' have heard a million times) - enjoy your kids (and your life) when you're young :) It goes by sooo fast. Don't take anything for granted and don't get upset about "the little things" (and some of those things you think are big things really aren't - take it from someone who has been through some big things in her life or the scrap minus the "s"). These pictures of my daughter are so cute but I look like I'm so stressed out about something - probably something like entertaining my in-laws :). So when I see these pictures and look at the joy on her face I'm hoping that she remembers only those "great" feelings and not those stressed out feelings that I may have been "putting out". These are all things you learn when you grow up and get a few more life experiences under your belt.

Anyway that is one reason I scrap - to remind my family, friends and myself of all of the good things in life:)! So on that note here is a fun, fantastic and fabulous challenge for you to participate in so that you may help someone you know remember something good that happened in their life:
